- Research is one of the pillars of Achas Higher Institute. Our research is in three principal dimensions:
- Student research: All our students are initiated in to research from year one. This is done through assignments and projects. Our BTec (Professional Bachelors degree) and MTec (Professional Masters degree) programmes have a dominant research component that is moderated by assessors from other internationally recognized Universities.
- Lecturer Research: Lecturers at Achas Higher Institute have to develop and sharpen their research competencies all the time. Through the improvement of their qualifications, delivery of research papers and academic presentations at international conferences lecturers network with peers and gain international exposure.
- Commissioned Research: Government departments and corporate entities are encouraged to request Achas Higher Institute to undertake research for them. Depending on the magnitude of such requests, Achas Higher Institute can either use its own staff and resources to do the work or get support from our partner Universities.
